After recording three singles in the summer of 2014, Chil went back to Gainesville, Virginia to work with Austin Bello of Forever the Sickest Kids on a new EP. They stayed for two weeks ready to evolve their style of music. With writing sessions lasting hours upon hours into the night, the process left them with little to no sleep, leading to the title of the EP—No Sleep, No Silence.
